Our Vision

A world where every parent, everywhere is able to protect and support their children’s health, safety, and development.

Parenting for Lifelong Health is a UK Charity, spun out of the University of Oxford, that designs, tests, and scales open-source, evidence-based parenting programmes in low-and-middle-income countries. Developed through collaborations with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and leading academic partners, we ground our work in rigorous science and a commitment to equity, ensuring the world’s most vulnerable families have access to proven parenting support.

Interventions grounded in local values, languages, and practices are more likely to deliver lasting positive change

Integrating our evidence-based parenting support into established systems ensures scaled programmes are sustainable

Our work is designed for delivery at scale, with partners and long-term owners identified from the outset

Understanding the child’s perspective, the importance of play, and empathy for parents and frontline workers lies at the foundation of our work
